Term 4 Reflection

What have you enjoyed the most this term and why?

• Swimming because it is nice and refreshing and I like it.
• Athletics because I came I third in one of my races in my heat and in my final I came 4th.
• Impact because I did bunting and I learnt what to do and what not to do I like cutting off the little bits.

What has been challenging this term and why?

• IXL because some of the question are hard but I still try.
• Some of my blog posts are hard because I don’t know what to write.
• Thames Valley athletics because I could not really do the 1500 metres and at the start I hurt my leg.

What are you looking forward to next year?

Camp because I have only been to it at my old school and I am really excited. The Year 6 bike ride because I have never done it before but I have done the fit for farming bike ride.

Homework Challenge update

Homework Challenge update

For my homework project I am going to cut the bottle in half. Then I will spray paint it black like a plant pot.Then mum and I are going to get a strawberry plant and I will  pot the plant inside the pot when it is dry.  

I have only cut it in half but we have got everything we need to use. It was hard to cut so I got dad to help me a bit.

Holiday recount

In the first week of the holidays Emma came over to my house for the week. The best thing that we did was doing the eat it or wear it challenge. Emma weird creamy rice churned up onions mayo and she ate orange. I wear only pickles but I ate chocolate serp and a slice of cake. In the second week of the holidays we went to Hamilton  on tuesday and we went to smiggles to get a new pencil case and I got a B for my bag and that was fun because I did not no witch pencil case to get there was so much.

Learning in the making conference.

On Friday we had the learning in the making conference. Our whole school did it. We all had different workshop. These are the workshops I did.

1. Funky corner bookmarks

2. Fun with flax.

3. Team building.

4. Badminton.

My favourite activity was funky corner bookmarks because we got to make anything we wanted to make. I made two monsters. My first one failed because I did not fold a piece over but I kept on trying, I never gave up. I did my second one, that one worked but I did not glue the teeth on properly so I had to cut other teeth out and glue them on. The skill I learnt is you have to be slow and not to give up just keep on trying.

Labour Day

In NZ Labour day is a public holiday held on the fourth monday in october. It’s origins are traced back to the eight - hour working  day movement that arose in the newly founded Wellington colony in  1840  primarily because or carpenter samuel parnells  refusal to work more than eight hours a day.  So what I did I went to Topo to motocross on friday then I raced on saturday  then on sunday we went home. On monday we stayed home.

You are what you eat

• A summary of the story

When it’s time to eat, I put vegetables on my plate but I am very careful what vegetable I put on my plate. My dog eats bones why can’t I. I want to eat bones they look really nice.

• Why you like/did not like the story

I liked this story because it was funny because when I open the book because it came up with a dog with a bone.

I’m rating  this book 8/10 because it is a funny and interesting book you should read this.

NZ Flag Changers

                NZ Flag

The New Zealand flag. I vote for the old flag because it is better then the new New Zealand heaps of people like it. I personally don’t like it because it is really boring.I like the old one because we had it for the war and some people died with the old flag and it is sad.I think we should keep this flag because it is a special to me because I like it more then the new flag.

                         ALL ABOUT EASTER

• Easter is all about Jesus Christ when he died on the cross.

• The cross was when Jesus got pinned by nails from his hands and by his feet.

• For Easter we have Good Friday, Easter Sunday, including Saturday, and two days extra which is Monday and Tuesday.
• We have Easter eggs to represent the way Jesus came back alive.
• Easter Eggs.They are all kinds of eggs they are chocolate eggs they are marshmallow eggs and double chocolate. Every Easter I get double chocolate

           eggs and they are delish.

• What I do for Easter. We eat Easter eggs then we watch some TV then we go outside and go for a Easter hunt around the house and in the garden.

Going to the pool every day and swimming then having free time in the pool and having a go on the pool toy today !!!	Doing work or Friday but that is OK instead of fun things like games on the playground and on the field.	Having a buddy and to helping me with my learning.
